They're Full of Hot Air

Sort of like today's politicians. Actually the ones we are talking about are hot air balloons that are based on a very basic scientific principle that hot air rises. Not only did the kids get to have fun, there was a little science lesson thrown in. Who says science can't be fun?

BOO from the Crew!

Another awesome Halloween celebration at the Ward's.

Mikey made a perfect likeness of Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas, one of his favorite movies. We all thought Anisha had lost it when she decided to start burning babies.

These two can make any costume look cute.

Notice the lower right pumpkin, I wonder if the Ward's know that they have rats.

It's always about the food.

Yummy Mummys

Scary Piranha Apples, too scary to eat.

Urkel Ward

Anisha brought out all these old Halloween pictures, what great memories.

The wine was questionable. Maybe Love Potion #13 is what made Anisha want to burn babies.

Optimus Prime and Scary Guy

Hailey's cupcake creationsStorm Trooper

The Boo Crew

Trick or Treat, Give Me Something Good to Eat.

We all went out to make sure the little goblins were safe.

I love the after effects of all that sugar, especially when they go home to their parents. Payback time. Eat some more my little pretties.

When Cheerleaders Aren't Always "Cheer"ful.

The crowd anticipates the game of the year. Two rival undefeated football teams and our own little cheerleaders. Of course Nathan and Ryker's first stop was to the concession stand for snowcones and nachos. In fact, I think there were several trips to the concession stand.

Hailey and Dakota walk on the field at half time and see the fans waiting for them.

Hailey is all smiles and ready to cheer for the home team, Desert Vista.

Dakota just realized there are thousands of other people here besides her family.

Maybe if I hide myself with the pom poms, they won't notice me.

Maybe if I turn around and then turn back around the crowd will be gone.

Hailey on the other hand is really getting into the music and cheering away for the team.

Then there are tears and Coach Kendra has to intervene.

Hailey continues to cheer, and cheer, and cheer.

Now we're back to being cheerful. Unfortunately Desert Vista lost the game.
