When Cheerleaders Aren't Always "Cheer"ful.

The crowd anticipates the game of the year. Two rival undefeated football teams and our own little cheerleaders. Of course Nathan and Ryker's first stop was to the concession stand for snowcones and nachos. In fact, I think there were several trips to the concession stand.

Hailey and Dakota walk on the field at half time and see the fans waiting for them.

Hailey is all smiles and ready to cheer for the home team, Desert Vista.

Dakota just realized there are thousands of other people here besides her family.

Maybe if I hide myself with the pom poms, they won't notice me.

Maybe if I turn around and then turn back around the crowd will be gone.

Hailey on the other hand is really getting into the music and cheering away for the team.

Then there are tears and Coach Kendra has to intervene.

Hailey continues to cheer, and cheer, and cheer.

Now we're back to being cheerful. Unfortunately Desert Vista lost the game.

There is No Silence Like That of the Mountains.

The Annual Family Camping Trip allows us some time away from technology and the rat race to concentrate on what's important in life. Spending time together and making memories for our future generations. A few special people were missing and hopefully will make it on the next one.

Nathan gets a gun safety lesson and shoots a rifle for the first time.

Is This What You Call Roughing It? Homemade Ice Cream in the Middle of the Forest?

You put all the ingredients into this special ice cream making ball and then roll it, kick it, and toss it until this delicious reward is done.

Hailey and Anisha decided they could roll it down this large hill to save some time.

Might as well make a game out of it. Once it was done, it was so goooood!.

Oh, to be that skinny!

Hailey and Dakota went to a Cheerleading class at Kendra's school last weekend and will be able to perform at this weeks Varsity football game. This weekend gave them a chance to practice.

We want our kids to be happy, have fun and:

Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.

Ryker loved all the trails with his little bike.

Campers Have S'More Fun.

Tess found the warmest place was next to the fire.

Cubby liked the blanket and chair next to the fire.
