In Spite of Ourselves

 

Last night we celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary with our family. In spite of ourselves, we made it to the quarter century mark.

It wouldn't be the 4th of July without a good ole' fashioned cook out. Dan grilled everything to perfection. The tri-tip was especially good.

It turned out to be one of our coolest 4th of July's ever. The weather was great. Our "Favorite 5" enjoyed the pool.

Dakota fell in love with Mamie's dog Charlie.

Rhiannon and Mamie wore their hamburger and hot dog hats to celebrate.

Liberty, Justice, and Sparklers for All!   We were able to watch our community fireworks show right from the backyard and then it was time for our own little Jones Exploding Extravaganza.  No cops called this year.

Rhiannon wrote hearts with her sparklers while I practiced my photography settings to capture it.

There is always time for a little game of "LRC".  Show me the money!

Dan cleaned house with the first win and Mamie took the final round. Lucky ducks!

Thanks you two for such a good time. When you are with good people you know what happens.  Great memories, hope the kids will remember the good times.
