Tramp Whispers

A few weeks back, Len and Dan yell ROAD TRIP! And we’re off to Jerome, Arizona. Half the fun is just getting there.
It is considered one of the largest ghost towns in America.  It’s a town that sits above what use to be the largest copper mine in Arizona and it is built into the side of the mountain like stairsteps.
Everyone knows that every mining town has to have a brothel and it’s in this former brothel that Mike had his paranormal experience.

No, it couldn’t be an experience in one of the beautifully restored Victorian homes on the hillside.
Of course not, it had to be some old tramp calling out to him in the "House of Joy".  Ghosts from tramps past!
All that excitement and dirty ghost talk made us hungry for the best pies in the state, so we had to make a stop at Rock Springs and take one for the road. They have some good pies, but nothing like Mamie's apple pies.
